Each CLA EuroCup eBasketball tournament recently has been a huge success for our federation and for the guys from CLA Poland. Even in this 38th season, our results were very impressive and high. We are happy to announce that this season, once again, we secured two podium finishes. Congratulations to KD_23_13, who last time took 3rd place in the tournament but this time fought and claimed 2nd place. Also, we are proud to announce the second winner, as he once again brought gold to our division — kudo_03, who claimed his second consecutive 1st place! Interested? Let’s take a quick look at how they achieved this triumph.
Unlike last time, in the Daily Qualifiers, it wasn’t easy for both of them to move on to the group stage. Our winner, kudo_03, took 1st place in this season’s qualification with 38 points, moving on to the next stage without any issues. Meanwhile, KD_23_13, with only 26 points in the qualification, took 4th place, securing the last spot and a chance to stay in the tournament, which we can now call the LAST CHANCE.
Therefore, KD_23_13 had to face the tough LAST CHANCE stage for the first time. He approached it with great responsibility, which gave him the motivation and strength to stay in the tournament. Together with maciek2306 from his division, who took 1st place in this stage, KD_23_13 managed to claim 2nd place with 14 points, the same as his division mate, but he advanced due to the goal difference, moving on with a strong desire to win.
In the Group Stage of the tournament, with great motivation to win, to avoid a big clash, our winners were placed in different groups. kudo_03 ended up in Group A after a full day of rest, while KD_23_13, after a tough stage, was placed in Group B, where he was with another gamer from his division, who also made it through the LAST CHANCE stage. With a result of 1/2/0 and 5 points, kudo_03 took 2nd place, where he couldn’t surpass the gamer with the same result but lost due to goal difference. He moved on to the next stage. Meanwhile, KD_23_13, with an aggressive mindset and a desire to win, took 1st place in the group with a result of 1/2/0 and 5 points, just like kudo_03. In his group, he shared 1st place with three other gamers with the same result, including maciek2306, a gamer with whom KD_23_13 had a long history, but maciek2306 ended up 3rd with the same score but lost out due to goal difference and was eliminated.
The beloved Final Six didn’t take long to arrive. The best gamers from CLA divisions gathered there to prove or defend their title of the best. The day was intense, and KD_23_13 fought against the same gamers he faced last season, managing to surpass the one who had taken a higher place than him. He managed to beat The_Professor from CLA Ukraine, who took silver last season. But kudo_03 defended his title as the best, and the title of the best once again went to the CLA Poland gamer. Congratulations to them both, and we wish them continued success in esports and more victories!
