This weekend, the first tournament of CLA EuroCup eHockey Season 1 took place, leaving us with bright highlights and emotions from what we witnessed. Our gamers from the CLA Poland division participated, and one of them even secured a podium finish. On behalf of the entire federation, we want to congratulate the player Dobek for taking third place in the tournament. It was very important to make a statement in the first CLA EuroCup tournament in the discipline of eHockey. Let’s go through the journey of Dobek step by step, from the beginning to the honorable third place.
It all started with the Daily Qualifiers, where our gamer surged ahead, finishing the qualifiers with 72 points, a very high score among all divisions.
In the Group Stage of the tournament, the gamer Dobek was placed in Group B, where he also performed very well. His result in this stage was quite good, but he was outperformed by our gamer from CLA Poland - Ostat. Thus, with a difference of 3 points, our future finalist finished with a W/D/L record of 2/2/1, totaling 8 points.
The long-awaited moment arrived for the first-ever Final Six in the history of CLA EuroCup in the discipline of eHockey, featuring the best gamers from all divisions. Three of our gamers made it to the finals, having traveled a long way to this awaited day. Unfortunately, in a fierce battle for the title, only Dobek managed to finish the day with a record of 1/3/1, scoring 6 points, which earned him the bronze, the first bronze in the CLA EuroCup eHockey tournament. This is a very good result, and we congratulate him, wishing him not to give up and continue striving for the title of the best.
