Last Sunday saw the conclusion of one of the biggest esports events of the season, DreamHack Dallas 2024! Among many popular esports titles was also our favorite football simulator, EA Sports FC 24. Naturally, our partners at CyberLive!arena could not miss such an opportunity, so Neerven, a star player of the Polish division, along with Fico and JokerTole from the Croatian division, traveled to the USA to try their chances.
The event featured 256 players, divided into four qualifying groups, who played in double-elimination brackets. The top 16 players advanced to the playoffs, where they competed for a total prize pool of 100,000 USD, as well as the 2 spots at Esports World Cup 2024 for the two best players.
Despite having a good starting match, unfortunately, none of the guys made it past the Group Stage. Fico reached the final of his bracket, where he lost to future event winner EmreYilmaz. Neerven, on the other hand, also managed to prove himself by getting to the Quarterfinals.
Nevertheless, we are very proud to see Poland represented at such an enormous event. We wish CLA luck at the upcoming DreamHack Summer 2024 in Jönköping, Sweden.
